1900 - The Burlington Hotel

Emshih Developments Inc. has elegantly restored the oldest hotel in Burlington, which first opened 1863 under the name of the Burlington Hotel. Since its construction, the hotel has gone through several name changes and alterations in the past 140 odd years. The original wooden structure was moved back from the street and a three-storey addition was built on the front of the original wooden structure in 1903.

Over the years there have been additions and alterations to the structure to the extent that there is little recognizable from the original historic building. Restoring the building to its original appearance, the Landmark Steakhouse now offers a truly unique dining experience in one of Burlington’s most historic “Landmarks”.
