In 2001 – 2002, Emshih Developments Inc. created the Garden Trail in Burlington, a Brownfield development that was once the site of a brick factory. From its elegant homes to its picture-perfect setting, Garden Trail is an extraordinary neighbourhood, combining both the picturesque Royal Botanical Gardens as well as the craftsmanship of the most renowned builders in the business.
A true partnership in development, Garden Trail evolved from a commitment to blend community with nature. This project was presented an environmental award from the Hamilton-Halton Home Builders’ Association for recognition of outstanding contribution to the natural environment in Hamilton-Wentworth and Halton by incorporating significant environmental features in new development projects.
Emshih Developments Inc. also donated over 100 acres of the original site to the City to conserve the area and create a natural park.

If you’ve ever wished you could say goodbye to the work commute, the solution is now available in south Burlington on Fairview St. near the Appleby GO Station. Emshih Developments Inc. and its partner, Branthaven Homes, are completing the new mixed development, called the Village at Fairview.
The Village has been planned in a prime location within Burlington. Residents will be close to the Appleby GO Transit station, as well as a comprehensive selection of shops and services, and steps away from Sherwood Park.
